MACAP MC4 COFFEE ESPRESSO GRINDER STEPPED DOSERLESS BEAUTIFUL
Like new Macap MC4 stepped 58mm burr espresso/drip grinder. This baby has a few nicks here and there but are pretty difficult to see. Burrs are still sharp adjustment is silky smooth, hopper looks good but the removable grid broke off a few legs, the Macap label adhesive is a little weak and is popping up a little (see photo). I bought this recently and it came from a home environment; it can do both drip and espresso and would be good for someone who needs one grinder to do both. As a coffeegeek I have had/have a number of grinders and this one is unique. The downside to this Macap is it's really a bag grinder, the spout is pretty big so you would probably use a small cup to catch the grounds; then transfer. Also I found it to be a little messy compared to a true doserless grinder with a conical funnel. But being a commercial unit and fairly simple; it will be in service until the user gets tired of it.The stepped adjustment dial is handy for going back and forth between drip and espresso.
